Galaxy Innovations GI HD Slim plus - updated model GI HD Slim acquired a card reader with support for cards encoding Conax
For users that want to connect their GI HD Slim to the Internet, USB Wi-Fi adapters based on the MT7601 chip are used.
The receiver’s ergonomic casing, external power supply and IR sensor, along with a special wall mount shipped with the package, make it possible to install the GI HD Slim invisibly – both on the wall behind the TV and on the TV panel.
A built-in media player greatly expands the GI HD Slim capabilities and can play the most popular media file extensions such as MKV, AVI, MPG, MP4, MP3 audio files and JPEG image files.
After connecting to a high-speed USB port of an external storage device, the receiver may use PVR recording and TimeShift functions. A USB Flash drive or HDD may be used as an external storage device.
